Stanley L. McDonald,
age 75, of New Brighton, died Nov. 24, 2008 after a long struggle with many
illnesses. Survived by wife, Toni; children, Maria (Scott) Pederson, Bill (Mary
Rose) McDonald, Patrice (Jerry) Culhane, Tom (Mary) McDonald, Tony (Pam)
McDonald; and Lisa (Paul) Lentner; 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Mary (Art) Wellman and Jean Kwiatkowski. Preceded in death by parents,
Mary & Stanley Sr. and brother, Bill McDonald. Attended St. John's Preparatory
School, graduated from Marquette University and worked for many years in the
medical electronics field. He was an entrepreneur and developed many pain
control centers. Mourned by extended family and a host of friends. He will be
remembered for his love of life, spending time with family and friends, positive
attitude, courage and perseverance to face the many challenges in his life.
Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Mass of Christian Burial
Wednesday, Dec. 3, 11 AM at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, St. Anthony Blvd
& Stinson Blvd, St. Anthony. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday,
Dec. 2, from 4-8 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM at Washburn-McReavy Northeast
